I had been working with healing energies for a few years before I met Pat, but it wasn't until after our meeting that I found myself on the receiving end. Here is the story. About 5 years ago I was told on a Thursday afternoon that I would have to undergo a full hysterectomy the following Monday morning. Naturally I was apprehensive at the thought of major surgery at such short notice. I spoke to Pat the next day and she said she would send me absent healing and to lie down and relax at approximately 8 o'clock for the next 3 nights. The time arrived and I duly settled myself down to receive the healing from Pat.
Whilst giving healing in the past I had felt energy flowing through me, but was never quite sure if I could really feel it or if I was just deluding myself. However being on the receiving end left me in no doubt at all about the reality of it all. Imagine being hollow and having a very powerful vaccum cleaner attached to the bottom of each foot, then using the turbo thrust button. The sensation was like nothing I have ever experienced before and was startling in it's intensity. I also got a very distint impression of purple and a silver metal like image. This all continued for some time then gradually decreased leaving me feeling very relaxed. The next 2 nights were similar experiences but with nothing like the intensity of the first night.
Monday morning arrived and I set off with my husband to the hospital. I should have been a nervous wreck by this time but I was engulfed by a strange calmness, so much so that I didn't need a pre-med, and was chatting cheerily away until the anaesthetic shut me up in the theatre! After the operation I came out of the aneasthetic with no ill effects and was able to chat away to my husband in between the calming effects of the marvellous morphine!! The night staff were so amazed with me that they called in some friends to have a look, and pointed out that I should be in the same state as the poor woman on the other side of the ward who had had the same operation and was patently feeling very unwell and in a lot of pain.
I thank Pat for the healing she gave me then, both for it's effects and for the experience itself which is something I will never forget.
